Responsible for the design, development, implementation, optimization, and support of enhancements and deficiency corrections in the field of manufacturing related applications.
Building of web applications to run on mobile devices will also be required as well as the coordination of new releases.
A thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle concepts, strong communication skills, and a process-oriented mindset are required in addition to very good technical and documentation skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with business users to analyze business needs, document requirements and leverage systems/processes to provide solutions that maximize value creation for manufacturing thru new functionality.
Define architecture and design approaches to address customer requirements.
Confer with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, and choose solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Perform unit testing, assist in integration and end-user (UAT) testing.
Follow established change management processes.
Maintaining an understanding of the latest programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
Provide customer support and application maintenance of existing manufacturing and intranet website solutions.
Must be able to work productively, both independently and in team environments.
