The Entry Level Programmer will support our ERP environment by completing tasks and projects aligned with company goals. Under minimal supervision, this individual will write and deploy code, monitor system performance, and provide user support. The role requires creative thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration with multiple teams. The position involves programming in various languages, system monitoring, and being available for on-call support after hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Write, deploy, and manage program code using RPG, CL, and SQL programming on IBM iSeries.
- Develop and maintain web programming solutions.
- Provide user support by assisting with operational problems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure secure data flow to and from systems.
- Perform system operations and backups.
- Identify and implement new projects to improve system performance and meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Information Technology-related education is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in programming or IT-related roles.
- Experience in lieu of a degree: 2+ years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in RPG, CL, and SQL programming languages.
- Familiarity with Power BI and web programming.
