Our client is looking for a Brake Press Operator to join their team. You must know how to read blueprints to determine the measurements of each product and program the Progressive Press to bend the materials into the shape accoring to specifications. Once the pieces are done, you will check to make sure they are the correct size and shape. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Set up/Operate of Progressive Press, whether through steel manufacturing or sheet metal work.
salary: $17 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Read blueprints from designers and engineers
Program your machine to fit the design
Measure the final product to ensure uniformity
Restock materials
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 35lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
