Job Description:
STV currently has opening for an Assistant Accountant in the Construction Management group in New York City. ] The Construction Management Division is staffed by more than 400 professionals who provide program management, construction management, design-build, construction supervision and inspection services. We consistently rank in the top 20 CM firms nation-wide. Our construction management specialists oversee projects both large and small, ranging into the Billions of dollars. We take on a diverse range of assignments that include infrastructure projects as well as healthcare, educational, institutional, manufacturing, and commercial clients. STV currently has an opening for an Assistant Project Accountant. The Project Accountant oversees all aspects of the day-to-day finance and accounting functions on our current projects for which they are responsible. This position with be located in our Long Island City office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support all aspects of Project Accounting from project setup and maintenance; review and adjustment of time and expense charges; revenue recognition; billing; WIP analysis and reconciliation; collections/AR reconciliation; AP and project closeout. Ensures projects are set up and maintained in accordance with contractual terms and conditions Prepares Client invoices in accordance with company billing policy guidelines Reviews and processes project related vendor and sub-consultant invoices Reviews and monitors project cost/performance on a weekly basis Reconciles WIP on a monthly basis to ensure that revenues and billings are in alignment Reviews Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payment of invoices Preparation of ad hoc analysis and reports Reviews projects regularly for closeout Works closely with Project managers and support team to meet the overall financial objectives of the company and division Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited program, plus two (2) years full time clerical/administrative experience with computer literacy. One (1) year must have been in accounting, finance or mathematics. Experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry highly preferred Compensation Range: $63,305.00 - $84,407.00 Dont meet every single requirement?
