Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:
- Oversee and manage project accounting functions, including setup, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze project financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor project expenses, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure timely and precise billing and revenue recognition for projects.
Qualifications for Project Accountant:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with AIA Billings
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Project Accountant or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Timberline, or Vista Viewpoint.
- Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000
