Job Description:

Join the Cornerstone Contracting Group team and play a vital role in delivering superior quality construction management and general contracting services in the metro Atlanta area.

As a Project Coordinator at Cornerstone Contracting Group, you'll play a crucial role in our team, ensuring the smooth execution of commercial interior construction projects in the metro Atlanta area. You'll be the linchpin in our operations, coordinating various aspects of project management from initiation to completion, and contributing to our commitment to delivering superior quality construction management and general contracting services.

What you'll do:

  • Facilitate the job setup process for new projects
  • Process and manage project submittals
  • Create and file Notice of Commencements
  • Manage project closeouts for completed jobs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job records
  • Create and manage subcontracts
  • Draft and execute AIA contracts
  • Facilitate the city permit process for each job
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Support general job site needs and logistics

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of commercial construction experience
  • A passionate problem solver with a proactive and resourceful mindset
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Capability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated individual who can set an example for others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in construction project management, particularly with submittals, subcontracts, and permitting processes
  • Familiarity with AIA contracts and construction documentation
  • Ability to adapt to changing project needs and timelines
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with Viewpoint Team is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000
