Project Administrator

Location: Boston, USA.

Start date: ASAP.

Duration: Contract until end of 2025, options to extend.

Rotations: Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day.

Type: W2 contract.

Job Description

The person selected will be responsible for managing project documentation, financial control, supplier management, and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements. This role involves working closely with various teams to maintain smooth project operations, control costs, and manage processes using SAP and other project management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and technical documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and management of contractual documentation.
  • Monitor project expenses, ensuring they are within the allocated budget.
  • Work closely with the finance team to predict project costs, identify potential budget risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Handle procurement processes including the creation and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP.
  • Oversee supplier contracts, monitor compliance with terms, and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
  • Ensure all project documentation (contracts, invoices, and supplier agreements) is properly organized, stored, and easily accessible.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support in managing contractual amendments and other formal communications with stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project administration or a similar role, within the renewable energy or offshore industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP for procurement, purchase orders, and financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Languages: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Spanish is a benefit.
