This company is seeking a dynamic Project Administrator to join their team. As a premier provider of mechanical construction services, they have proudly served the Seattle area for over 30 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Broad-level file management and document control
- Create and distribute project field manuals and safety plans
- Assemble, distribute, and coordinate review/modification of project submittal packages
- Coordinate acquisition, delivery, and removal of site office/storage rentals
- Review documentation and draft responses for RFI's, both internally and externally created
- Issue purchase orders and coordinate with Accounting for end-to-end purchase management
- Collect and verify Daily Reports and Daily Pre-Task Forms, as required
- Coordinate job site inspections
- Collect and file field reports (Start-Up, Testing, Commissioning, etc.)
- Assemble and distribute all project closeout documentation
- Assist with field technology management (tablets, mobile internet, etc.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years in project management or administration
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment at a small but growing company
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and triage tasks appropriately
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software
- Possess a growth mindset to grow their role in and with the company
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project management or administration experience within the Construction industry; Plumbing/HVAC/Mechanical trade a particular bonus
- Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- Database management experience
- Experience with Viewpoint Team, Viewpoint Spectrum, and/or Smartsheets
- Understanding of best practices for cost control implementation while maintaining high-quality, safe service delivery to our clients
