Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS: Education: Must possess a secondary (i.e., high school) school diploma, or its equivalent (GED). Experience: Recent paid or volunteer experience involving organized activities with elementary school children. Special Licenses, Certifications, Language Skills: As required by California Education Codes and Health & Safety Codes, school staff working with children must be free of infectious tuberculosis (TB). Proof of current TB screening must be presented prior to employment and renewed every 4 years thereafter. Possession of current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certificates from approved training program is desirable. The ability to read, write and speak a language, in addition to English is desirable
