JOB TITLE: Project Analyst Level I I (Owner Support) AGENCY: Construction & Development DEPT/DIV: Development/ Owner Support REPORTS TO: Senior Planning & Budget Analyst WORK LOCATION: 2 Broadway HOURS OF WORK: 9:00 AM to 5:30 P M or as required (7.5HR/ DAY ) HAY POINTS: 393 SALARY RANGE: $ 7 1,740 to $ 9 4,15 9 DEADLINE: Open Until Filled S ummary The Project Analyst Level I I is the Intermediary Level position that provides analytical support within the MTA Construction & Development Agencies Owner Support Unit. Analysts set project scope, track projects during the life cycle, and are consulted on contingencies such as the potential impact on other projects . Responsibilities Responsibilities will vary by assignment. Typical duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Assist in develop ing, preparing , and updating analytical reports, spreadsheets, and databases. Support data-gathering, review ing , and updating information and documentation in project management systems and various systems supporting departmental operations. Assist in detailed budget monitoring and administration tasks for capital projects or departmental operations. Provide analytical support for developing research, studies, analyses, and presentations related to capital projects, technical issues, or departmental operations. May handle confidential and sensitive information related to capital projects , departmental personnel, and operations. Ensure effective communication and function as a liaison with employees at all levels within the department and with other C&D units, as needed. As needed, provide analytical support for various departmental and project management processes and reports . E ducation and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, or a related field . Must have a minimum of one ( 1 ) year of related experience. Competences: Strong analytical skills. Self-motivated and detail - oriented . Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with all levels of management and team members. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and discretion. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Access , and PowerPoint).
