Project Analyst (Level II)

Location: Patuxent River NAS, MD (On-Site)

Job Summary: The Project Analyst will provide support to the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) Enterprise Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and Training services program for simulation, RDT&E, and training activities. This position supports the project management team by providing documentation support covering all necessary information to ensure flight simulation program activities meet training standards and objectives. This role requires appropriate relevant experience in similar role(s), exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining training records and providing technical writing
  • Supporting scheduling activities, administration, and training activities coordination
  • Providing site administration to ensure successful flight simulation operations and training events that meet program goals and objectives
  • Provides support for syllabus development and maintenance
  • Support for flight simulation and provide test support for RDT&E activities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans and schedules
  • Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support
  • Identify potential project issues and report them to project managers
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project objectives are met
  • Qualifications:

    • Education: High School diploma or GED
    • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
    • Security Clearance: SECRET

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with military training processes and procedures
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
