We are actively recruiting experienced, registered Project Architects to join the firm in our New York office location as part of our Data Centers market sector. Responsibilities

Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate on a variety of projects in scale and scope. Our ideal Project Architect will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual working with leadership to ensure client satisfaction and the ability to function in a team lead capacity, while working on multiple, challenging projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant construction documents including redlining, detail review, QA QC check and consultant coordination
  • Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
  • Translate concepts and information into images
  • Execute the process of preparing and completing usable construction document detailing solutions
  • Assist with creation and management of project schedules
  • Develop & present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders
  • Assist with leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorship
  • Work proactively to resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with Project Manager
  • Demonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice
  • Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines
  • Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products
  • Attend and conduct presentations
  • Manage client relations
Qualifications

Qualified candidates already exhibit these strengths and talents:

  • Professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent is required
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial architecture
  • Data Center experience or experience supporting large teams on large-scale projects required
  • Professional registration or anticipation of registration
  • High commitment to QA/QC
  • Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together
  • Acumen for how things are built and constructibility, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget
  • Ability to lead and collaborate in a diverse project team environment
  • Exhibit strong marketing and client relations experience and capabilities
  • Display strengths in master planning, conceptual design, and technical excellence
  • Strong and effective organizational and communication skills
  • Confident presentation ability
  • Revit proficiency strongly preferred; experience with other 3D software is a plus.
  • Candidates should be efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations
  • Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Flexible attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities is essential

Base Salary Range: $82,000-$135,000 annually New York locations only

The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in New York only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
