Their projects range from small-scale residential complexes to large mixed-use developments. Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced Project Architect/Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily residential projects, proficiency in construction documentation, and expertise in Revit. This role will involve leading design efforts, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept through construction. Location: On-site - Brooklyn Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of multifamily residential projects.
- Prepare detailed construction documentation and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Utilize Revit for design development, construction documentation, and project coordination.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Licensed Architect preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on multifamily residential projects in NYC.
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation and building codes.
- Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
