Job Description:

The Project Architect/ Project Manager will manage an existing national early childhood education client with twenty+ projects in various states. Prepares and estimates scope of work and develops a strategic plan. Responsible for coordination of all project efforts. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budget, and scope of work to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the primary design interface with clients and consultants.
  • Works collaboratively with the firm's Principals.
  • Develops proposals, change orders and invoices.
  • Produces project schedules and work plans.
  • Produces and maintains the project's program and schedule.
  • Oversees the production of design and construction documents.
  • Provides QA support and direction on overall design.
  • Coordinates with engineering consultants.
  • Mentors and directs team members.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of related experience in Architecture and Project Management.
  • Experienced in managing a team of three to ten people.
  • Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar.
  • Proficient in project scheduling, using MS Project or similar.
  • Ability to participate in marketing and business development activities.
  • Effective communication skills.

Education:

  • Bechelors and/or Masters degree in Architecture.
  • U.S. Architectural licensed desired but NOT required.
