Ashley McGraw Architects is seeking a project architect and/or job captain to help guide project teams in our growing multifamily housing practice. This individual will be responsible for supporting the project manager by in preparing the design and contract documents for large multifamily and mixed-use projects in multiple sectors. In this capacity the project architect leads an internal architecture team of 2 to 4 people per project. Additionally, you will collaborate with the studio s Principal and project managers to refine the firm s multifamily project standards and marketing strategy.
This position is a hybrid remote role. Candidate must be within driving distance of projects in Upstate New York between Syracuse and New York City and have the ability to attend in person meetings in Syracuse when required (at least once per month). Our current projects include both LIHTC and market rate multifamily projects across New York State, ranging between 50 and 300 units each. Multiple projects are pursuing green building standards such as LEED and Passive House.
