Five years of experience developing and supporting applications in IBM COBOL.The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated:-Associate's degree and four years of experience -Associate's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience-Bachelor's degree and three years of experience-Bachelor's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and two years of experience-Master's degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience-Doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experienceDuties Description Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 4 (SG-25), this position will support approximately 11,000 programs comprising the 70+ DOCCS mainframe applications. Duties include, but are not limited to: Develop, enhance, and/or maintain mainframe applications in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment using IBM Enterprise COBOL, CICS, CA-Easytrieve Plus, JCL, and DB2 SQL Support and document all phases of a system development lifecycle Develop functional program designs Develop and maintain stored procedures, subroutines, batch and interactive programs.
