Parsons has immediate openings for a Scheduler to perform a variety of scheduling assignments requiring the application of basic techniques and analyses. This position supports our Oil & Gas Infrastructure division. Assists in developing and implementing Scheduling control support and/or in providing planning and scheduling services to engineering, procurement, and construction activities for assigned projects.

We need our Scheduler at this level to be a fully qualified professional with solid experience, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments, and who has exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain cost control, and/or provide planning/scheduling functions on one or larger projects. You will be utilizing your technical expertise, and familiarity with company policies and procedures to complete complicated tasks independently. This position is Hybrid in Auburn, CA.

Responsibilities:

+ Expert in Primavera, P6 for schedule creation, update, and management.

+ Senior scheduler with 10+ yrs of experience with some of that experience in portfolio level scheduling in addition to project level scheduling.

+ Work with the Planning team on project initiation and build Initial schedules based on the Long Term Planning Process (LTP) and standard project templates

+ Work with the Planning team to hand over initiation stage schedules to the project Execution team (Project Manager, Project Management Analyst, and Project Schedule).

+ Work with all execution PMs/PMAs on developing new project schedules that are re-occurring work or emergent work.

+ Maintain and update changes to the master P6 project templates. Understand the Project templates in detail and guide project schedulers as required.

+ Review execution portfolio for accuracy and proper coding. QA/QC project level and Program level schedules Train new schedulers on project templates, logic, and procedure and occasionally provide coverage for schedulers during vacations.

+ Act as a Bridge between the initial planning team and the project execution team Ability to communicate with the project team, project managers, schedulers, project management analyst, permitting, licensing, and other stakeholders on as required basis.

+ Manage P6 Database - assist with maintenance and periodic cleanup of the database.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience)

10+ years of related work experience.

Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.

Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite. P6

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
