Job Description:

Summary:

This position is responsible for administration and oversite of construction projects throughout The Guthrie Clinic system. The Project Coordinator will be well versed in construction methodologies and procedures and will work closely with the Project management team to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. The position will require excellent time management and communication skills, as the Project Coordinator will collaborate with clients and our internal teams to that all projects meet timelines and our quality standards.

Experience:

Highschool diploma or GED required. Minimum three years administrative experience. Administrative experience in construction management or related field preferred. May consider other combinations of education and/or years' experience. A general knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.

Technical Non Nursing

Essential Functions:

* Provide assistance on assigned projects from concept through design and construction to project close out/occupancy to defined schedule, budget and quality parameters with minimal supervisory guidance.

* Coordinate, price and produce purchase orders and releases.

* Maintain and prepare all correspondence, project documentation, and resource scheduling with team members.

* Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives to align with organizational goals.

* Act on tasks from internal team to assist with scheduling management.

* Assure compliance with stakeholders' needs during project evolution.

* Assist with project management duties at the direction of the project team.

* Assist in generating and maintaining Guthrie Standards.

* Works closely with facilities and maintenance staff. Ensure safe and well communicated shut down plans. Maintains compliance with ICRA, and ISLM compliance during project execution.

* Assist with meetings, memos, submittals, RFI's and procurement.

* Analyze projects to ensure scope, schedule, and budget are met.

* Maintain project status reports.

* Scheduling of meetings and facilitate communication with the team

Other Duties:

* Attends meetings, training secessions as requested, assigned or required.

* Prepares reports and presentations as requested.

* Participates in committees and organizational initiatives as assigned or requested.
