Are you living your life's work?Job Title: Project Coordinator Endocrine Research Location:3600 Civic Center Blvd Hours: Full TimeThis position is contingent upon funding. We currently anticipate this position to be funded for 2 years upon the start date. Summary:
  • Responsible for management of complex projects conducted with collaborators both internal and external to Penn Medicine. Responsible for the oversight, maintenance and completeness of the Endocrine database. Completes timely entry of new patient data and database expansion as needed for individual projects. Works in collaboration with disease team members to develop study protocols, writing grants, managing the detailed operations of projects, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, cultivating close relationships with community partner organizations, and drafting/editing manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journal. Leads quality improvement projects and co-authored papers. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages project/program activities and implements protocols. Develops, implements and manages work plans and timeframes in order to ensure project goals. Communicates project/program activities to ensure clear, coordinated project related communications.
  • Delegates and coordinates tasks based on developed plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and consultation related to project/grant proposals/ manuscripts/animal protocol development. Advises those associated with projects (PI) regarding project status.
  • Leads data collection and database management for endocrine disease team quality and research projects.
  • Coordinates and completes all regulatory requirements, including study protocol and IRB paperwork as they pertain to the work of the endocrine disease team.
  • Performs responsibilities with a concentrated focus and attention to details and maintains a high level of accuracy.
  • The successful candidate will comply with all policies relating to UPHS, JCAHO, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other regulatory standards.
Credentials:Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • Associate of Arts or Science (Required) And 2+ years Healthcare Support Services
  • Education Specialization:Business, Science, Nursing,
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Preferred) And 0-1 years Healthcare Support Services
  • Education Specialization:Arts, Science or Business
