Job DescriptionDivision:AdministrationClosing Date: Until FilledLocation: 4305 E. 21st Ave., Tampa, FL 33605Salary Range:$24.94/hr. - $28.89POSITION PURPOSE:The HART Project Coordinator II will support the PMO Team with the implementation of the PMO framework. The PMO PCII is responsible for assisting with the implementation of various standardized processes, tools and methodologies to support fundamental project and program management activities. The scope of the PMO PCII's responsibilities may include work plan development, management and periodic status reviews, resource management, issue management, risk management, decision tracking, change control, financial tracking, executive status reporting, document management and quality assurance. The PMO PCII will also perform research and implement professional and confidential administrative projects, where required. The PMO PCII is primarily responsible for providing ongoing project management support for the PMO and key initiatives and projects supporting the strategic goals of the Authority.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the establishment and implementation of project management processes and methodologies for the Enterprise ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Provide assistance in the maintaining and updating of the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support the HART PMO.
- Assist in maintenance of project documentation, plans and reports including updating risk/opportunity registers, schedule updates and financial status reports.
- Assist Project teams with coordination of activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Assist in the assembling of project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Assist in the tracking of key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the customer.
- Assist PMO Director and other PMs in tracking and reporting on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive and prioritized view of all projects that are entered and maintained in the HART file structure.
- Facilitate a collaborative and productive project management process in conjunction with contractors, managers and staff to enable effective project oversight.
- Assist in the upload/download of documentation to/from PMO SharePoint site, ensuring that all documentation is kept up to date.
- Coordinates and manages special projects as assigned and directed by the PMO Director.
- Assignment from time to time as Project Manager or Team Member to a variety of subject matter expertise organizational projects or stretch assignments emanating from the Portfolio Steering Committee (PSC) Project Management Office (PMO) to implement strategic and organizational goals.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree in related field, such as project management, business administration, public administration or management, or two (2) years of related field experience for each year of college requirement.
- Two (2) years of related field experience in public sector business administration or project management. Preferred: Five (5) years of progressive related field experience in public section business administration or project management.
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office - (Excel and SharePoint).
- Knowledge in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
Machines, Tools, Equipment Used:
- Ability to operate small office equipment, including copy machines or multi-line telephone systems, as well as a computer for both data entry, word processing, and/or accounting purposes.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Florida Driver's License or be able to obtain one within in 10 days of hire or moving to the State of Florida.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a standard office environment.
- Ability to hear, see, speak, and perceive color, depth and texture.
