What You Can Expect Working in the Project Coordinator PositionThe Project Coordinator is a vital member of the real estate development team, contributing to the seamless integration of planning, design, project management, and execution for residential and commercial projects. Core responsibilities include reviewing project proposals to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget, managing front-end coordination with architects and engineers, and scheduling to meet capacity and stakeholder expectations. The role involves collaboration with banks to secure funding, organizing municipality-specific documentation, and mitigating risks while maintaining open and effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams. As Project Manager, you will oversee accurate tracking of financial data, project kick-off and close-out meetings, and adherence to key billing milestones. This position will typically manage 10-15 projects of varying sizes, ensuring on-time and under-budget completion, while delivering consistent value across the real estate portfolio.Responsibilities
- Review project proposals and customer contracts to confirm agreement on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Draft, execute, and organize all development agreements and addendums.
- Communicate with banks to secure letters of credit and manage their release throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with engineers, architects, investors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure accurate project updates on social media and the company website.
- Establish detailed project plans, including responsibilities, timelines, and action items.
- Manage Gantt charts and timelines to keep projects on schedule while documenting financial details.
- Prepare interim and completion reports for management and clients.
- Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project updates, scope, and timelines.
- Evaluate plats, site maps, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and necessary changes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in real estate development.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello) and financial analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience working with banks, legal documents, and complex stakeholder teams.
- Advanced knowledge of real estate development processes and regulatory requirements.
