Job DescriptionProject CoordinatorWe are actively looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our growing team, at a building material supplier that manufactures and distributes a wide variety of building products to both single-and multi-family homebuilders, developers, and contractors. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for actively managing multiple projects a time while proofing submittals, generating change orders, oversee order entries for your projects and manage the accountability of field managers while also working closely with various in-house departments, as well as customers and vendors. Job Type: Full Time, On-site, potential hybrid Responsibilities for the Project Coordinator:
  • Coordinate with field managers, ensuring timely submission of verifications and data, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Post bid addendums, proposal requests, etc.
  • Using experience and knowledge as they relate to building products
  • Documenting all aspects of any given project through contracts, change orders, sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of correspondence.
  • Managing several projects daily
  • Working with production on lead-times and shipping details
  • Direct communication with customers via phone, email, or jobsite visits
  • Determining and adequately meeting project schedules & deadlines
Requirements of the Project Coordinator:
  • Previous experience in related fields (carpentry, construction, building materials)
  • Associate's degree in related fields preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Construction processes and what Building Materials are required
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
