Title: Project Coordinator - Pipe Fabrication

Reports to: Project Manager
Location: New London, WIHourly, Non-Exempt: $24 - $28/hourSUMMARYThe Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Managers and other team members in the smooth and efficient operation of all project related activities. Strive to create customer satisfaction by meeting customer required due dates and compliance with quality requirements. The Project Coordinator will also assist in developing, fostering, and improving customer relations through effective and efficient internal customer handoffs.Additionally, the Project Coordinator is expected to support and participate in company safety and improvement initiatives and company policies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Smooth and efficient operation of assigned responsibilities and resources.
- Proactively support customer due dates and expectations by completing projects safely , on schedule, within budget, and to required specifications
- Assist Team members to meet project and customer expectations
- Daily/Weekly/As required operations
- Create spool drawings as needed from client drawings
- Validate spool drawings for accuracy and completeness
- Receive, file and log drawings and documents as directed
- Conduct document transmittals and recordings according to requirements
- Create and coordinate project schedules as requested
- Create purchase orders within SAP accounting system and effectively order materials as needed
- Assist with freight and shipping arrangements of incoming and outgoing materials and finished goods
- Act as liaison with customer as needed/requested by PM concerning all aspects of the project, including project updates and customer inspections
- Assist with project invoicing/accounts receivable status as requested by PM/accounting
- Assist/perform completed project documentation assembly and submittal as needed
- Assist estimating as needed
2. Communicating effectively with internal and external customers, including all team members as needed3. Review and understand the projects performance status
- Review and understand project profitability and safety performance
- Support changes to ensure issues are resolved for current and future projects
- Identify and make recommendations to management for project cost savings
4. Assist in ensuring project follows safety and quality requirements set forth by Enerpipe Inc.
- Assist QA and Receiving as necessary
- Assist in assuring Enerpipe and OSHA safety guidelines
- Participates in and supports Enerpipe improvement initiatives and strives for standardization throughout the organization to improve efficiencies
5. The employee may perform other duties assignedQUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree preferred and/or a minimum of five (5) years' experience in the pipe fabrication industry
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, blueprints and government regulations.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all stakeholders
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Willingness to learn
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS- Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud.
- Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours. Certain positions will require a flexibility of working hours to meet the demands of the job and the direction of the manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or pulling.

- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
