  • Coordinate with the Legal Director, Practice Manager, and Private Client Services (PCS) Group Chair to help manage special projects and liaise with other departments as necessary
  • Assist in planning team goals and project schedules.
  • Communicate with the Business Development team to discuss collaboration efforts and new business prospects.
  • Responsible for steady workflow of conforming, including coordinating conforming efforts if any backlog occurs.
  • Ensure all necessary project-related material is current, properly filed, and circulated.
  • Anticipate and evaluate project-related problems and develop solutions.
  • Attend periodic Health Care Group meetings and follow through on action items.
  • Maintain deadlines and monitor progress across the team(s) to ensure projects stay on track; follow up and coordinate on same as needed.
  • Manage, prioritize, and respond to internal and external emails in a timely manner; this includes, but is not limited to, reading and analyzing email contents, forwarding emails along to appropriate parties to streamline workflow and efficiency in responding to client requests;
  • Liaise with clients, provide assistance, and coordinate meetings to build and foster positive working relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years or more of experience in PCS
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations and a fast-paced, multi-authority environment
  • Effective multi-task and manage priorities
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential matters
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $60,000 - $85,000.
