We are looking for a Project Developer Manager based in Washington DC.
This person will be a key member of the X-ELIO team who focuses on providing project and portfolio level support ensuring X-Elio's solar and BESS initiatives are met. The position will oversee development assets obtain the necessary approvals to reach construction ready status. (administration, sourcing, acquisition, due diligence, and execution) across the portfolio. This person will have full ownership of the Project Development portion of the project development process supporting the growth of our utility scale solar and battery storage pipeline.
What will you do?
* Manage project and portfolio level entitlement, interconnection and permitting efforts in defined markets, adhering to approved schedules and budgets for assigned utility scale solar and BESS projects.
* Evaluate technical and economic feasibility of proposed projects at various stages of development, including both utility solar and battery energy storage systems.
* Concisely communicate to X-Elio leadership of development risks and recommend mitigation strategies for pipeline and project leads.
* Manage junior project developers, providing guidance and suggesting to help overcome their project challenges.
* Ensure that all programmatic and interconnection needs are met for Solar and BESS projects across assigned markets. Coordinate with X-Elio's Construction and Procurement Teams to ensure the project's budget and timeline are met as it relates to interconnection and any discretionary permitting required.
What do we need?
* 5 years of experience in Development
* Bachelor's degree.
* Previous experience in a Power/ Renewable Energies/ PV developer company
* Strong communication and analytical skills.
