Job Description:

Southwestern University, located in Georgetown has an immediate opening for a Project Director for Violence Against Women Act. The Project Director is responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of program requirements, as well as support all grant-related activities. This position is subject to conditions and limitations set forth in the grant. This is a 12-month, full time, grant funded position ending in 2028 with the possibility of a position renewal. The Project Director for Violence Against Women Act will report to the Director of the Counseling and Health Center.

Primary Duties:

* Coordinates and manages grant-related activities, completing all tasks necessary to ensure compliance with grant requirements.

* Creates a coordinated community response team overseeing all planning and implementation activities.

* Establishes and strengthens relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance institutional responses to address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

* Provides ongoing training to all personnel in campus resolution processes and to all campus law enforcement on how to respond to these issues in a culturally relevant and informed manner.

* In collaboration with campus partners, designs prevention initiatives, including bystander intervention and ongoing prevention activities to all students on domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Position Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree.

* Bilingual (Spanish/English).

* Experience in project management and facilitation skills.

* A minimum of one-year experience working with domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault or stalking (DVDVSAS).

* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

* Knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of cultural diversity within the campus and community, with a particular focus on Hispanic/ Latin, LGBTQ, and immigrant student populations.

Position Preferred Requirements:

* Master's Degree in education, psychology, social sciences, public health, social work, or a related field.

* Experience developing and leading educational programs for diverse populations on sensitive topics.

* Knowledge of research and best practices as they relate to prevention and/or victim, survivor advocacy for domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking specifically in a college setting.

* Federal grant management experience (including grant writing, reporting, and budgeting).
