Title: Project Director Department: Student Health Services
Reports To: Director, Student Health Services
Duties and Responsibilities:
* The Project Director (PD) has the day-to-day responsibility of achieving the goals and objectives of The B.E.S.T. Tigers Unified to Prevent Violence Project within the specified timeframe.
* Provides work directions to staff through orientation, training, assigning, scheduling deadlines, and coaching employees.
* Work is expected to be accomplished by following productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, while resolving problems and identifying work process improvements as needed; monitoring of budgetary status is implemented to assure money is spent to accomplish objectives and activities in a cost-saving manner.
Education
Master's degree or an equivalent of experience and education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Must possess strong knowledge in the education, prevention, and response(s) to domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault.
* Experience in working with culturally relevant pedagogy.
* Project and time management skills.
* Ability to foster teamwork, supervise staff, track budget expenses, be result oriented, and ease in delegating tasks.
* Proactive toward quality performance of all staff leading to successful outcomes
