Employer: Family Service of Rhode IslandHope StreetProvidence, RI 02904Contact: Genesis FuentesPhone: 401#######Email: ...@familyserviceri.orgJob DescriptionFSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community we serve in!Position Summary: This is a half-time (20 hours/week) position responsible for the launch and overall administration and project management of the new Go Team School Violence Prevention Project funded by the Office for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. This project involves a partnership between FSRI, the Central Falls School District and the Central Falls Police Department who will collectively identify and support children and youth at high risk for youth violence, victimization, and/or family disruption in order to prevent/reduce school violence in all Central Falls public schools (elementary through high schools), improve school safety, and prevent youth violence and victimization.Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in human services related field preferred, though FSRI will consider a variety of related bachelor level or higher educational degrees and/or clinical credentials.
  • Experience working with youth and families impacted by violence and other forms of trauma exposure required.
  • Strong project management and communication skills required, including collaborating with and coordinating the activities of a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
  • Prior experience with federal grants, program development, budget management, and program direction preferred.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish capacity preferred; bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.Physical Requirements:Employees in this position must have the ability to:
