Client Details

My client has been serving the Greater Boston Construction Market for just shy of 130 years, beginning as a local roofing contractor and has now grown into a multi-faceted General Construction firm. They specialize in most major sectors of Construction Projects from $5M - $20M. They are very actively looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support a variety of ground up and renovations projects in the area.

Description

As the Assistant Project Manager you will:

• Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project time lines
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross- functional teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution
• Contribute to budget management by monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and identifying cost saving opportunities
• Assist in procurement activities
• Prepare and maintain project documentation
• Report and communicate effectively with Project Manager
• Okay with entry level applicants

Profile

The successful Project Manager will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
• Strong literacy of MS Word and Excel
• Organization skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
