About the Role:

Position: Project Engineer – Early Works Construction

Location: New Albany, OH

Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, high-energy Early Works Construction Project Engineer to join our Land Development & Community (LDC) team. In this exciting role, you will oversee the early stages of construction for one of the Fortune 500's cutting-edge data center campuses in New Albany, Ohio. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in construction management, especially within mission-critical facilities, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the development of a global cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the early works phase of construction, including site development and preparation.
  • Ensure construction drawings are followed and materials are delivered as needed.
  • Maintain the project schedule and manage cost control to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements on-site.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all early works-related communication and updates.
  • Regularly report on project status, safety, schedule, and budget.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in mission-critical facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of site development, including earthworks, grading, and environmental remediation.
  • Proficient in reading construction drawings and managing schedules and budgets.
  • Experience in safety compliance and ensuring regulatory adherence.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

  • Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or PMP.
  • Experience in large-scale data center or tech infrastructure projects.

Salary Range: $ 125### ####00 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
