Position Overview: The Project Engineer is responsible for making sure all customer requirements are met. This consists of communication, project management, tool design, manufacturing, quality, and delivery for projects & tooling. They will also be responsible for maintaining a good relationship and building new relationships with customers as well as Vendors. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate project updates with customers, from project status to delivery, to project requirements.
- Review mold and tool designs to improve the quality of manufacturing results.
- Review designs for new tooling, customer change notices, gages, fixtures, and jigs.
- Make sure all Molding projects are in a timely fashion.
- Aid in the development and implement manufacturing / engineering programs to improve overall operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Engineering or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Project Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- Ability to lead and coordinate process improvement projects and initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
