Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes using principles of injection molding.
  • Lead and manage automation projects to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Program PLCs to control machinery and processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns.
  • Assist in the development of plant layouts, workflow, and accident prevention measures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, systems, and equipment.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the company's manufacturing processes remain competitive.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience in Injection Molding Engineering, Automation Projects, and PLC Programming.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with CAD software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound judgement.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
