By joining us, you become a part of a results-driven, professional, and collaborative team across multiple office locations in New York and California to build different.We are seeking a Project Engineer for our Rye Brook, NY office in Westchester County.Project Engineers work with Project Management teams and provide support for the entire life-cycle of a construction project. Project Engineers must demonstrate knowledge in construction practices and provide coordination and administrative support to their assigned project teams. Responsibilities:
  • Complete new project updates in Procore, distribute initial drawings and plans to all required team members, assist Project Manager with insurance and permits as needed, send Superintendent Field team toolkits
  • Schedule calls and meetings with internal and external project team members to ensure consistent communication flow throughout the duration of a project
  • Support administrative responsibilities for each assigned job: process RFIs, submittals, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders
  • Assist Project Managers with buyout process
  • Create and distribute weekly reports as requested by client and leadership
  • Assist in preparation of closeout package process: collect documentation from subcontractors, vendors, architects, clients, and members of the internal project team
  • Other job responsibilities as assigned
  • Occasional travel to project site as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • At least 2 years of professional work experience, preferably in construction
  • Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and other construction drawings
  • Excellent MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required
  • MS Project, Procore, and Timberline/Sage experience preferred
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage their time well on tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Team-player and ability to build relationships well across the organization and team
