Our client in the renewable energy industry is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $27 - 30 Based on experience

What's the Job?

• Lead and support 10-12 projects annually involving cost reductions, process optimization, new products and processes, and other related large scale continuous improvement initiatives.
• Be able to quickly familiarize yourself with the assembly line layout and general process flow in order to make informed decisions when planning and implementing projects.
• Use lean six sigma methodology and organizational tools to guide your planning and decision-making process.
• Drive innovation within the solar manufacturing process. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and implement them into the companies' projects to maintain a competitive edge.
• Breakdown assigned projects into discrete steps to provide high confidence deadlines.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, project management, or a related field.
• Experience (3 years) in managing projects, preferably in manufacturing or renewable energy.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to formulate and manage project budgets to maximize profitability.
