Rate of Pay: $121,514

Duties: Design rail signaling solutions for interlocking, ATP and CBTC systems(primarily wayside with on-board 1 carborne design consideration). Interpretand incorporate relevant standards and customer requirements into systemarchitectures. Create, review, and release system specifications and otherengineering documentation related to the signaling systems. Take ownership ofthe design, architecture, documentation, and function of signaling systems.Support test and commissioning, production, and manufacturing teams. Integratesignaling systems into rail vehicles. Work on technical coordination with otherstakeholders including installation planning, electrical and mechanicalengineering, fire protection, etc. Support static and dynamic field testing aswell as wayside and on-board testing.

Requirements: Employerwill accept a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any) orrelated field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a ProjectEngineer- related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1.Leading teams for mass transit railroad projectsand signaling systems.

2.Developing system design solutions or railwayand SCADA systems.

3.Working with design and integration of PLCSystems (Simatic S7).

4.Planification and execution of installation,testing, and commissioning activities for interlocking systems including itssubcomponents (axle counters, point machines, and signals) and CBTC (Balise,onboard, and Airlink).

5.Integration and functionality of projectsubsystems related to Interlocking and Onboard Signaling systems, specificallyCBTC (TGMT).

6.Work with project teams, individuals, andsubcontractors to meet project schedules and budget.

7.Leading and supporting bid teams for activitiesrelated to signaling projects.

Telecommuting may be permissible pursuant tocompany policies. 20% domestic and international travel is required. [HybridRole]
