Project Engineers work with Project Management teams and provide support for the entire life-cycle of a construction project. Project Engineers must demonstrate knowledge in construction practices and provide coordination and administrative support to their assigned project teams.Responsibilities:* Complete new project updates in Procore, distribute initial drawings and plans to all required team members, assist Project Manager with insurance and permits as needed, send Superintendent Field team toolkits* Schedule calls and meetings with internal and external project team members to ensure consistent communication flow throughout the duration of a project* Support administrative responsibilities for each assigned job: process RFIs, submittals, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders* Assist Project Managers with buyout process* Create and distribute weekly reports as requested by client and leadership* Assist in preparation of closeout package process: collect documentation from subcontractors, vendors, architects, clients, and members of the internal project team* Other job responsibilities as assigned* Occasional travel to project site as neededQualifications and Experience:* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering* At least 2 years of professional work experience, preferably in construction* Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and other construction drawings* Excellent MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required* MS Project, Procore, and Timberline/Sage experience preferred* Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage their time well on tight deadlines* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* High level of professionalism* Strong presentation skills* Team-player and ability to build relationships well across the organization and team
