Job Description:
job summary: A Project Engineer is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Portsmouth, NH area. This role involves managing pharmaceutical engineering projects, overseeing plant construction activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, drafting and executing change requests, coordinating with stakeholders, and handling project documentation and vendor relations.location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire job type: Contract salary: $57.00 - 65.36 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute plant projects involving complex equipment changes.
  • Collaborate with the Quality group to draft and align change requests, completing tasks to support project completion.
  • Manage daily on-site activities for multiple projects, ensuring contractor safety compliance and addressing construction-related questions.
  • Schedule construction activities and communicate outages to affected stakeholders.
  • Redline as-built drawings and coordinate with the CAD group to update and assemble technical documentation (TOP).
  • Ensure construction work is on schedule and meets quality standards according to project specifications.
  • Execute commissioning protocols, including installation, operation, CIP/SIP, and wet testing.
  • Gather pricing information and assist in scoping upcoming projects.
  • Work with vendors to specify and gather budgetary pricing for new equipment.
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Change Controls and GMP manufacturing practices.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in pharmaceutical engineering projects.
