You will be aligned to the Automated Systems Division within JBT Corporation specializing in Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) designs and installations. As our Project Engineer– you will report to the Project Manager of Product Services & Support On a given day, you may: Assist application / sales process Assist with technical sections of proposal Develop a standard requirement/questionnaire required for estimating project Create guidelines for various applications / vehicle types Review desired system requirements (throughput, conveyor rates, interfaces, etc) Review system performance requirements and ensure system meets design requirements Help develop the technical sections of the Functional Requirements Specification, DOO Evaluate and refine the road system and operation needed to meet performance requirements Help define system performance capabilities Preform overall application risk scoring Communicate with customer on technical solutions, data mining, and KPIs related to system performance Safety Risk AssessmentsEngage customers on potential risks (site visits as needed) and create risk assessments Monitor and validate risk mitigations are performed according to project requirements Requirements for the role BS in Engineering Discipline Proficient in Visio, and AutoCAD Data driven and able to analyze trends using excel or equivalent tools Demonstrates a strong sense of project ownership Passionate about machine and systems optimization Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management, field, or software engineering in the automation industry Travel & Location This position is remote and requires 25% domestic and international travel (including Kingston, NY for FATs)#LI-Remote#LI-SH1 Why work at JBT ... #LI-Remote We are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.
