Corporate Mechanical of New England, LLC has been waiting for you! We are seeking for a Project Engineer to become an integral part of our team. The Project Engineer must work collaboratively with internal administrative/office personnel, external stakeholders, and union tradespeople in supporting and coordinating assigned construction activities to meet both project and company objectives. Essential Duties:
- Preparation of work scope packages
- Change order estimating and development
- Project tracking and quality control
- Documentation and facilitation of problem solving using the RFI system
- Preparation of subcontractor bid packages, subcontracts, and purchase orders
Qualifications:
- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage project teams in successful project completion.
- Establish accountability for results and develop a positive work environment for every project team member to thrive professionally and personally.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in Timberline project financial software preferred
ADA Physical Requirements:
- Lifting no more than 20 pounds on an occasional basis and up to 10 pounds frequently.
- Typically requires standing and walking for 6 hours of an 8-hour day (certain light jobs may require continuous sitting and entail the consistent use of either hand or foot controls).
- May repetitively climb up to and down 6 steps on different size ladders (6-12') during a shift and/or use step stools. May frequently climb up and down various steps and stairs.
- Frequently work in controlled building environments as well as in occasional extreme indoor and outdoor temperatures to include heat and cold, high, or low humidity, noisy and dusty environments.
- Work with frequent interruptions during a work shift.
