Job DescriptionTitle: Project EngineerLocation: Columbia, MD Type: Direct HireJob Responsibilities Sterling Engineering is current seeking a Project Engineer with experience consistent, but not limited to: • Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, design, permitting, inspection and construction administration including pump stations, distribution, collection and conveyance, storage tanks, and treatment. • Experience coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure design with other design disciplines (e.g. traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and survey) also preferred. • Project management experience a plus. • Strong leadership skills. • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. • Be a self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • Strong ability to plan and manage preparation of construction drawings and specifications Required Attributes: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering • 4-7 years related experience • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Preferred Attributes: • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
