Manufacturer of Industrial Blenders/Mixers in Middlesex is seeking a Project Engineer. Some of the Cool Things You ll Be Doing In This Role: • Creating, evaluating, managing, and maintaining the knowledge base which consists of, processes, documentation, engineering change orders, bills of material, product tables, system logs, etc. • Providing technical assistance during the sales phase of the project, including providing estimates of hours for design efforts • Developing customer and internal drawings, BOM, and designing the equipment utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD • Serving as the primary focal point for all technical communications with the customer, as well as answering technical questions and resolving problems regarding the design, operation, and reliability of the equipment • Creating the design schedule, establishing milestones, and managing the design effort to ensure quality and timeliness of the completed design • Managing the resolution and improvement process for technical issues encountered on the shop floor • Inspecting incoming equipment and preparing for shipment • Transferring 2D CAD system to 3D (SolidWorks), as well as maintaining the SolidWorks databases • Creating a system to maximize standardization of products and effectively deviating from standard designs when necessary • Recommending continuous improvement processes, policies, and procedures Job Requirements What You Will Need For Success In This Position: • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related area • 10-15 years of manufacturing and design experience in an OEM environment • 5+ years of experience working as a project engineer at an OEM • Minimum of 10+ years of experience with SolidWorks • Electrical engineering experience is a plus • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Outlook) proficiency • Experience with ERP & CRM systems • Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC knowledgeable • Training and experience in Project Management • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills • Our ideal candidate is autonomous, driven, hands-on, and possesses a results-oriented, proactive, 'can do' entrepreneurial attitude when working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Experience: * Manufacturing: 10 years (Required) * Solidworks: 10 years (Preferred) * Engineering: 10 years (Required) Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Work Location: In person Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Rachel Burke Synerfac Technical Staffing Phone: 732-###-#### ...@synerfac.com
