Your Role
Join Atlas Copco as a Project Engineer. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for engineering and a drive to deliver outstanding results, we want to hear from you!
As a Project Engineer, you will review customer specifications, define and manage the project's technical scope, provide clear technical communication to the customer, monitor engineering and documentation schedules, and set team schedules and priorities for all assigned projects of our engineered to order centrifugal compressors. You will report to the Systems Engineering Manager and work closely with engineering teams, manufacturing, and project management.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- You will support customers and manage the technical scope of supply for all assigned projects from kickoff to customer acceptance at commissioning.
- Review and interpret customer specifications, coordinating with Application Engineering and the customer to define and clarify the detailed scope of supply.
- Act as the key technical contact for customers on all assigned projects.
- You will communicate customer needs to the project team and throughout the organization.
- You will issue and update the project-specific orderbook throughout the project execution.
- You will review customer scope of supply change requests and provide the Project Manager with cost, labor, and schedule impact details for change orders.

To succeed, you will need
- A bachelors degree in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering environment.
- Working knowledge of centrifugal compressors and technical specifications related to turbomachinery.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- You are willing to occasionally travel domestically and internationally.
