External DescriptionAudubon is currently seeking a Project Engineer to be part of a project team working onsite in Big Spring, TX. The Project Engineer's responsibilities will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project process from initial inception to project closeout.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
  • Delivering projects safely, timely and within budget.
  • Ensuring that the project meets cost and schedule requirements.
  • Developing project schedules by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
  • Ensuring the end outcome is well defined from the initial scope request.
  • Inputting and following the Management Of Change process to ensure everyone is onboard with the change.
  • Independently solving moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Supporting engineering plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
  • Supporting project costs by supporting process to approve scope changes (working with engineers).
  • Review engineering deliverables; initiate appropriate corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Delegating to the engineering team.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
  • S. Degree in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in industry.
  • Experience with field work such as site support, construction support, and field changes.
  • Demonstrated Project Management Experience.
  • PMP - preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing schedule and budget.
