Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe primary duty of the Project Engineer will be to assist the Site Superintendent with the day-to-day management of on-site operations - from project preparation through final acceptance by the client - ensuring projects are completed in accordance with the approved design, within the established budget and on time. Duties include coordinating project documentation as required by contract; assisting with the coordination and scheduling of all on-site activities; documentation of any and all field problems; and ongoing client and subcontractor relations.RequirementsTechnical training; degree in engineering or other construction-related field desired. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and project scheduling software required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to work nights and weekends along with overnight travel required.Physical:
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment which includes: routine walking, talking, sitting, standing, seeing, and the capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Tolerant to working in an atmosphere with exposure to rain, cold, snow, heat, noise, fumes and dust.
- Ability to travel flights of stairs multiple times a day on multi-level projects
Salary Description $40,000 - $50,000 per year
