We are seeking a highly motivated Project/Estimating Engineer with at least two years of experience to join our client's dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced industrial environment, contributing to diverse projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive labor and material estimates for projects
- Perform meticulous material take-offs and generate detailed bills of materials
- Gather and analyze pricing information from various suppliers
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and logistics
- Create detailed drawings for shop work orders and field installations
- Travel to customer sites for dimensional verification and project support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Strong understanding of industrial drawings and their application in material estimation
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks)
- Excellent multitasking and project management abilities
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
