Job Description:

As a Project Engineer, you will provide project support, ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will assist in the planning, execution, and management of engineering projects related to energy efficiency and demand-side management. You will develop and review engineering calculations related to energy usage and savings, from basic to moderate complexity. This role includes conducting fieldwork, such as verifying existing and replaced equipment and identifying potential projects. Additionally, you will conduct technical assessments and analyses to support program development and implementation. You will also collaborate closely with team members, clients, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships between energy use and independent variables.
  • Provide project support to our Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) Program.
  • Conduct technical assessments and analyses to support project development and implementation.
  • Perform (QC) on standardized analyses to ensure accuracy.
  • Interact professionally with clients and on-site staff and enhance our reputation as an industry leader.

Perform other duties as needed.

What you Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent education/work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Understand relationships between energy use and independent variables.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles and advanced analytical skills expected of bachelor-level engineering degree or above.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of creating and managing styles in Word preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Open to learning and embracing new challenges.
