Role Description:

Under the direction of the Project Manager, Manager, the primary focus of the Project Engineer will be to lead program launches for our customers through the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and New Product Introduction Processes (NPI). Ensuring the products are delivered according to market and customer expectations in respect of specifications, timing, and cost. This position will oversee the Oconto NPI department and manage that team's staff and workload.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering plus a minimum of three years' shop floor manufacturing experience in an engineered-to-order industry.
• Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes, and experience with computer systems to manage the business is required.
• Must be training in Lean principles including 5S, Kaizen and Value Streams plus tools such as; continuous improvement, green/black belt, and six sigma.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees within the company.
• Project management experience across multi-disciplinary teams with a project management certification a plus.
