Note that these benefits do not apply to part-time employees.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply today!PROJECT ENGINEER SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:This position will have project engineer and entry level project management responsibilities in a marine construction and commercial diving environment as well as assist with estimating tasks when requested. Project Engineer Responsibilities
- Provide contract management support to Contracts Manager and Project Managers to include change orders, preparation of subcontracts, purchase orders, PSA's, project schedules, client billings, material pricing, project buyout, etc.
- Participate in Bid to Job turnover meetings to understand project set up for job costing and revenue reporting.
- Prepare submittals for the project including material certifications, shop drawings and any other documents required by the Contract and maintain an accurate submittal log if required.
- Assist with the development of project schedules and updates as required.
- Reviews accounts payable invoices for the project to ensure correct coding.
- Assists in the analysis on potential impacts to the job, ie; cost overruns, savings, quantity variances, material variances, rework, etc.

Project Engineer Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is required.
- Experience in the Construction Industry is preferred but not required.
