As a Project Environmental Engineer or Geologist, you will play a key role in managing and executing environmental remediation projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, develop site-specific remediation strategies, and provide technical expertise throughout project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental remediation projects from initiation to completion.
- Conduct site assessments, data collection, and analysis to identify contaminants and evaluate site conditions.
- Develop and implement remediation plans in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with environmental standards.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental remediation and consulting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA, RCRA, CERCLA).
- Proficient in data analysis software and GIS applications.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
