We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Rye, NY. In this role, you'll be an integral member of our multi-disciplinary project team working on water, wastewater, utility, and infrastructure design projects throughout the regionIn an ever changing world, it requires creativity and innovation to stay ahead.We're seeking the curious, those who are stimulated by fresh thinking and a desire to shape our communities in new, positive ways.As part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving changeWorking with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Assisting with the preparation of technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates and permitsAssisting with workshop presentations with clients on technical advancement of project studies and designsDevelopment of project delivery strategies and job management plans, work within QA plans, to help secure resources, monitoring work briefs and budgetsSupporting pricing estimating, scoping and marketing strategies for new clients and projectsWorking on the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designsCoordinating GIS/CAD team in developing design and construction documentsConducting field investigations and condition assessments to identify process needs and solutionsCoordinate communication pertaining to technical and contract project issues and coordinate client meetingsReviewing, building and managing hydraulic model of complex water, sewer and stormwater systemsDevelopment of supporting project information (i.e. calculations, analyses, evaluations, cost estimates, report text, figures, drawings, etc.)Performing planning level studies on infrastructure systemsMaintaining open communication with project team members and project managersWhat you will bring to the team:Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringEIT certificationAt least 3-5 years of municipal water experience including experience in the state of New York; prior water and wastewater design experience with local municipalities a plusInterested in joining our Water team?
